GEA’s Entrepreneurial Lunch & Learn

1 Dec

The Leeds Outdoor Industry Club and the GEA have collaborated to bring Ted Kennedy to Leeds for a Lunch and Learn to discuss his experience as a successful entrepreneur in the Sports/Outdoor Industry.

When: Dec 6th from 12:30pm to 1:00pm
Where: Board Room in the Dean’s Suite at Leeds
RSVP: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/NPHZKXM

Ted was one of original four founders of Ironman North America (Ironman NA) and was VP of Marketing for Ironman NA for more than 6 years. In 2005 Ted left Ironman NA to launch CEO Challenges, and take his sport competition for CEOs concept to many different sports, all over the world. He successfully sold CEO Challenges to Lifetime Fitness (LF) in 2012 and currently serves at the President of CEO Challenges for LF. You can see a brief bio for Ted on the CEO Challenges website.

Ted is a local to Boulder, and has agreed to come to Leeds to share his experiences with Leeds MBA students from 12:00-1:30 on December 6, 2012 in the boardroom in the Dean’s Suite.

If you are at all interested in the Sports/Outdoor Industry and especially triathlon or other events businesses, this is a talk that you won’t want to miss. We are limiting attendance to 20 people, so please RSVP as soon as possible. Once we fill the event we will continue to take waitlist reservations and if demand is great enough, we may look for a larger room.

Please fill out this survey if you’d like to join us to meet and speak with a successful Boulder entrepreneur.

Lunch will be served.

Thursday, December 6th
12:00pm – 1:30pm
Boardroom in the Dean’s Suite
