The GEA Retreat Is Tomorrow!!

Here are a few details about the events planned for tomorrow.

3 Very Important Details:

  1. Start time: 9:30AM
  2. Location: Red Lion MAP
  3. Dress: Business casual

The event is broken into two portions – day and evening. The day portion is open exclusively to current MBAs. We will be joined by alumni, faculty and local business professionals for the evening portion.


The day will start with coffee, cold beverages, fresh fruit, cheese, assorted breakfast rolls and breads. Throughout the day, we will hold panel discussions and workshops with a multitude of successful alumni, successful business professionals, faculty members, Deming Center board members and local entrepreneurs from a diversity backgrounds. GEA members will learn about what it takes to succeed as an MBA in both a large corporate business and an early stage startup, how to make the most of their time at Leeds and how to crystallize and achieve their goals as students and professionals. Before transitioning into the evening, students will learn how to make the most of networking opportunities. Lunch will be served at noon, the options are French Dip, Chicken Caesar Salad, Rocky Mountain Trout, Pasta Prima Vera and Weiner Schnitzel in addition to a mixed green salad or cup of soup.


In the evening, members of the Deming Network, Leeds alumni and faculty, local business professionals will join us for networking and fun. The evening will start with facilitated networking to enable students to better connect with the local business community. Following will be a keynote speech by Brad Feld of the Foundry Group. The night will close out with live music and fun. Dinner and non-alcoholic beverages will be served.
